Remote Cental Locking

remote central locking stopped working replaced battery in keyfob,also re-programmed according to manual still doesn,t work :angry:

does the door led respond correctly when programming ??

 

I think its stage 8 - should flash 5 times

just tried to reprogramme key as manual says key fob flashed five times but control light in door doesn,t flash for conformation :angry:

Key fob will flash if you hold the lock and press unlock three times whether its in range of the car or not (don't do it - I tested it the last time someone asked and had to reprogram my remote :angry: :D :D ) the key recieves nothing from the car - the car detects the code from the key ( pressing the lock and unlock 3 times changes the code transitted by the key)

 

The car blink the door led 5 times to show you that it has recieved and memorised the code - if it doesnt get the key checked at ford - they have a m/c which checks the key output.
