small lead to temp sensor ? on reverse of load area trim panel (2 wire)

small lead to parking sensor beeper (2 wire)

flat connector to tail lights (5 wire ?)

and a wire which disappears up the D piller - presumably through the rubber boot into tailgate + rear window motor??

Sorry, forgot to write that. It is a -98 gal 2,3 GLX..... and it is now in my signature too

It may be for the powered rear windows (if you don't have them)

Don`t have them. Will have a look on the right side to see if I can find something similar, but I can`t remember seeing anything when I connected the remote ....

it wont be the rear quarter windows, they are three pin flat plugs, it's a plug for the rear heater unit, plug C332/3/4/5/6...... do you have climate control or just AC?

I have climate control on my gal. Any ideas?

Think it is the dual... I have two temp/fan adjustments, front and rear.

do you have roof vents for the rear cabin? if not you only have front cc and the connector in question is not used, it looks like the pictures are from the TIS or the VW equivelent ?

No roofvents.... so the rear adjustment is just for normal heating then?

yes, the rear unit is just a recirc unit in this case :) so the connector is not used

I don't have roof mounts, but have the dual CC unit and get ice cold air out of the rear vents when the rear cc is set to "LO" ?!?

3.5bullet - it might be more helpful to other members if you put your car details in your signature?

Because everyone else does to make it easier for other forum users to know which model you refer to when answering to posts as well as asking questions. Your answers may only be pertinent to your model (and therefore your experience of the mark) and may infact not be relevant to the model the question relates to. The forum is here to help other members, not confuse or hinder them in their hour of need :)

Which kites you fly bears little relevance to this forum. :o

Well actually I am considering buying a Stacker 6 as my first foil, just how easy are they to fly? I normally fly a Flexyfoil Delta.

easy enough in the right conditions ;) try a small four line kite and see how you get on? then you can go for something real big and do yourself some real damage :D there are a few kite shops local to you, pop into one and see what they have in stock? a small rage or a sting will get you hooked, let you learn the ropes and feel the pull :D plus the sting is ok for kids :o

try either Roy pinks over at newport pagnell or pop over to dunstable-kites and chat to the lads there, very helpful with a large flying field right out side the shop :D and one of them could do with a copy of the tis if you have a spare one ;) and then there's Guerrilla Direct Ltd Guerrilla Towers 217 Wellingborough Rd

right on your door step

and then if you want to see them in action try the park over at Gange Park there are a few locals that static fly/board there

Cepheus, so what your sayingis that as nik has a mk2 his answers are only aplicable to the mk2 and all his replys to questions on the mk1 are crap? or the fact that i only have one eye! so i cant really tell you what colour the ocean is? when or if i ever ask a question i'll let you know what vehicles i have :o so you can answer in full knowledge that your reply is relevent to my model :)

As well you know, that isn't what I'm saying at all and any sort of adult intelligence would have told you that without having to resort to sarcasm (the lowest form of wit) to reply to me. People here have a lot of knowledge of all things Galaxy/Sharan/Alhambra, but there are a lot of differences between the models, years and engines, as you know. Ah **** it ... can't be arsed anymore. This forum, in the short time I've been here has changed from being a friendly place with the odd bit of friendly banter and instead is filled with sarcastic ****** and people hijacking sensible threads with nonsensical **** (mods included)

I wouldn't go so far as to leave the forum as it's helped me out on numerous occasions, but I do agree with the sentiment. It is frustrating when you see numerous replies to a thread that you have an interest in, only to find they are just people having their own irrelevant conversation. Other forums don't like off topic drivel, maybe the mods should crack down on themselves and others.

I'm only posting this "off topic drivel" as the question raised seems to have been answered. We don't need knowledgable people leaving the forum for ANY reason do we?
