Guest ANDY FITZGERALD Posted September 23, 2003 Report Posted September 23, 2003  I KNOW THIS IS OLD GROUND BUT ... 1. I HAVE ONLY ONE KEY (And Concerned About It) COULD THIS BE YOU ?? 2. WITH REFERENCE TO KEYS, MY LOCAL FORD DEALER IS ABOUT AS MUCH USE AS A WAX TEAPOT... SOUNDS FAMILIAR. 3. MY LOCAL FORD DEALER SPENDS MOST OF THE TIME SAYING "ITS RINGING"... OR ... "PUTTING YOU THROUGH"..."OK TO HOLD", AND SIMILAR...WHAT ABOUT IF A PROSPECTIVE CUSTOMER SAID, "OK TO HOLD MY CAR PURCHASE". 4. COULD THE EXISTANCE OF THIS FORUM PROVE BEYOND DOUBT FORDS CUSTOMER SERVICE IS POOR AT BEST... I FIGURE MAYBE FORD SHOULD SPONSER THIS ANGLE OF THEIR BUSINESS A LOT MORE, AND NOT SKY MONDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL, SALES AND AFTER-CARE SHOULD GO HAND IN HAND. IS THIS JUST ME, OR DO I HAVE A POINT ?? Guest ANDY FITZGERALD Posted September 23, 2003 Report Posted September 23, 2003  SORRY, BIT OF FORUM RAGE I FEAR. WHY DONT WE ALL JUST PUT A SIGNATURE TO A GENERAL COMPLAINT AND CONTACT FORD WITH A VIEW TO THEM GETTING QUALITY CUSTOMER SERVICE ON THE TOP OF THEIR PRIORITY LIST FOR THE FUTURE...OR, PUT THE GALAXY FORUM BATTLE BUS OUTSIDE THE AGREED WORST FORD DEALERSHIP.IM SURE THERE WOULD BE NO SHORTAGE OF FORUM SPEAKERS, NICE LOUD MEGAPHONE...SHOULD DO THE TRICK !! Guest silk Posted October 28, 2003 Report Posted October 28, 2003 i know what your going through. the fastest, easiest and probably the cheapest way is to use an autolocksmith. they are the people who deal with keys and locks all day long. so ring around and find your local one Quote
Ivor_E_Tower Posted October 28, 2003 Report Posted October 28, 2003 I think you will find that Ford UK are not really interested. All they want to do is make and/or sell as many cars as possible at a profit. They don't own the dealerships and cannot easily exert pressure on them to get their acts together. I think also that Ford are more concerned with "company car" sales to worry about us private motorists, some of whom will never buy another Ford again purely based upon the attitudes and competence of the dealers. suzuki91 Posted October 29, 2003 Report Posted October 29, 2003 i got a spare key cut and programmed by a mobile locksmith, all for Quote
johnb80 Posted October 31, 2003 Report Posted October 31, 2003 My dealer isn't in the slightest bit bothered about company users nor are Ford. I ordered a Galaxy at the beginning of September and at the time there was a special promotion for company car buyers - order before the end of September and take delivery before the end of October and get Quote
