Sat Nav Function

My Blaupunkt sat nav will not follow me in real time it changes my position every few minutes but is never fully accurate. When using it for guidance it runs through the route on it's own without me moving an inch. I have fitted a new gps aerial and have a genuine 2005 blaupunkt disc. Also petrol stations appear to be 50 mtrs out of line so they may be in the wrong street or on the wrong side of the road. It is a recent purchase so I do not know if worked when taken out of the previous vehicle over a year ago.
