Guest pablo Posted June 12, 2006 Report Posted June 12, 2006 Hi, i have tinted windows to fit on Galaxy, but have just noticed that one of the rear quarter lights is missing the metal mounting hinge thingy. Now , to me , they look bonded on, does any one know how difficult it would be to take the old one of my clear window and put on the dark tinted one ? Thanks Phil. Quote
Guest 3.5bullet Posted June 12, 2006 Report Posted June 12, 2006 if you look at the inside of the window you will see a phillips headed screw? undo this and the hinge/catch should then be able to be removed and replaced onto your new tinted window Quote

But it looks as though it is bonded to the glass, as there are no screws in sight. Quote
Masked Marauder Posted June 13, 2006 Report Posted June 13, 2006 I looked on the parts catalogue and it is described as a hinged window, the picture is not clear enough to see though, but what I can see is that the hinge is not listed separately...... Perhaps you can use glass-bond or get a windscreen fitter to bond it for you? Quote
