mumof4 Posted June 7, 2006 Author Report Posted June 7, 2006 So have you sorted it - the wiper not the Hubby :D if so how did it go?? going to do it today.....i will let you know how i get on!! :D that was yesterday - I take it, it didn't go well :D I made a half heaeted attempt with the arm on the car..then realised that yes as per instructions on here i will have to take the arm off!!will do it today if i get chance what with the rest of the ironing to do! :D Quote

mumof4 Posted June 7, 2006 Author Report Posted June 7, 2006 well, i went out to the car with all the intentions of taking the arm off, saw all the muck and dust so thought id just give it wash, then of course i had to wax and polish it till it gleamed!! :D only thing wrong with that, i can see all the ruddy scratches on it!!!!!!!!.Some deep some not...whats the best thing to get rid of em???? ;) Quote

Here is a pic of spring on..done this twicw now.....when i bend the arm..the bloody thing shoots off!!!Got a nice bruise forming on my cheek now. :angry: Quote

Ok..thought id be clever and bend my screwdriver..didnt work out..bloody thing snapped in half when i whacked it with my hammer........gotta think of summit else now :angry: Quote

Thanx for the suggestions though Right, so far, i have reopened the end a bit, got spring reattached, i am now tryibg to reclose the end a bit while on spindle...just skinned me thumb with thw wire grippers!!!All good fun i guess....I'd rather take my linkage off again than do this!! :blink: Oh my hubby is in for it when he gets home! :angry: Quote
