Technical Info System Cd

Having bought the TIS CD from good ole eBay and been fairly happy with it, I was wondering is there a better parts CD or Catalog for the Galaxy.

 

The TIS CD is more of how to dismantle etc but I struggle to find any complete listings for parts.

 

It's no where near as good as the VAG (VW & Audi) ETKA CD. Which lists just about everything for the complete range.

 

I'm just wondering as I wanted to find the part number for the Rubber Boot that goes at the top of the tailgate and carries the cables for the rear light as mine is knackered.

 

Is there another CD available?

I have ETKA 5 and ETKA 6.

 

I still use ETKA 5 as never needed to go higher for my Scirocco, so up to 1992 was fine.

ETKA is just a part list with exploded diagrams, it's the official version as used by VW dealers! some copies are even availlable with updatable price lists! copies of it avr availlable from ebay, most VW forums or you can down load it from several sources on the web!

Hi guys sorry for the ignorance but does this cover all vag cars in all there versions say sharan Tdi 90 ,115,130 hp.if so how do we do a surch in such a lot of models and versions of the same cars.I am interested in geting this software but could you guys enlighten me on how it all works.

you can search by year, vehicle type, gearbox, engine or VIN number the choice is yours as long as you have a VW ?

Elsawin is the VAG TIS. It is available in different flavours for Skoda, SEAT, VW & Audi et al.

Hi all,

I just bought me Elsawin on ebay and I;m having trouble instaling it. Works ok till I try aplying the 3.13 patch.Then i get a runtime error, after installation completes, there are no little icons on the main screen, just the grey elsawin background. Any ideas?

Hi Nick !

the dialog box is in German when installing first time (version3) .No prob there. Only thing is the car data cd's I have are not compatible with version 3.

When upgrading to 3.13 the dialog box is in English .Final result is icons not present on the main screen
