Automatic Sticks In Second Gear Until Warm

My 1.9 TDi sticks in second gear until it warms up, about 4-5 mins. Then its fine! Anyone got any ideas?

Mine does the same except it sticks in first, tiptronic shows it changing into 2nd & 3rd but nothing happens. My local ford dealer said the box is sealed for life & doesn't need topping up. Have tried shifting from 2 to 3 on lever but nothing happens.

 

Did you sort yours?

 

Anyone else got any ideas?

 

After Fords in Alperton said it needed a new auto box, Car Giant who I bought it from took it and still have it now 8 days later. Last I heard they had sent it to an external auto expert for repair!!! I'll keep you posted.
