i have just filled my galaxy tdi today and i will admit i really crammed it in.. my question is does the galaxy have an overflow and where does it leak from if it does?

below the fuel tank there is a metal bracket and a small hole in it and it seems to be coming out of there, its only a drip.... every half hour or so which makes me point more to it being a leakthan an overflow, it isjust that i have never noticed a wet patch umnder the car before.

thanks

Did you spilll any into the little well in front of the filling spout - there is a little hole here which had gathered some crud (which I cleaned out) I assume that it will drain out somewhere under the car but haven't tried it. Could this have happened - if some crud was in the yube it may take time to seep out ??

There is some sort of escape valve in the top of the filler tube - if I want to top the tank right up I usually press the top of the pump nozzle against it to let the air out, if some deisel had goe through there it may take some time to find its way down??

I overfilled ours by quite a bit on Sunday and Tiff said it was still dripping 30 minutes and five miles later.....
