Guest arrythedev Posted May 30, 2006 Report Posted May 30, 2006 hi all, i need help desperately. a couple of days ago the car started to stop for no apparent reason (deisel) i would be driving along and it would cut out. sometimes i would have to turn the engine for 15/20 seconds then it would go for another few minutes, then the same again would happen. i decided to change the fuel filter which i did,now i have the problem of purging the air. there doesn't seem to be an air bleed screw or nipple. how do i do this? if i disconnect the left hand pipe from the filter then air obviously enters the system again. can anybody advise me how to do it? my car is a 1998 model. ANY help welcome Quote
