davec Posted May 29, 2006 Report Posted May 29, 2006 Whenevere i reverse caravan much on grass the clutch overheats and i think boils the fluid causing the pedal to be lost til it cools down.Am thinking of replacing the fluid with race quality brake fluid as the slave cylinder is mounted inside the housing and i hope this will resist the high temperatures, does this sound feasible,i know i have to get hold of a suction tool to vaccuum bleed it. Guest 3.5bullet Posted May 29, 2006 Report Posted May 29, 2006 the brake and clutch system share the same resevoir, so you have to have to replace all the fluid and flushing the lines throughly by bleeding the brakes till the new fluid appears Quote
