Ogben Schmutzel Posted May 29, 2006 Report Posted May 29, 2006 Don't get me wrong I think they have a place but when the post is still active (i.e. can be replied to) it is not obvious when there has been a reply, so they tend to get read once only! Maybe they should just be for reference - as a couple of them are - and only updatable by the admins?? Just a thought. Oggy. Quote
Masked Marauder Posted May 29, 2006 Report Posted May 29, 2006 I think the temptation for moderators to pin things must be resisted. It usually ends up with about a dozen pinned topics if you don't. Personally I think three or four pinned topics should be about the maximum on each area. As you have noticed this means that you normally end up with a few good reference threads pinned and that is it. Quote
