Rear Shocks

I hope someone can advise, recently i discovered my rear shock absorbers were leaking and require to be replaced, however I dont want to replace them with the standard soft dampers but maybee slightly stiffer one. Can anyone one advise of their views on this.

I will get a price, are they much stiffer than the origonal part or just a bit stiffer?

In non-galaxy applications I have found them to be acceptably stiffer.

thanks for that, I will get a price for them and all being well the bolts will come off without breaking.

if you want a standard shock that is slightly firmer and uprated try VW they do heavy duty and sports shocks for the sharan, the lower mount is a nut and bolt fixing the top mounting is into a threaded insert and can be the awkward on to remove! clean the dirt off the bolt and apply plenty of releaseing agent a few days before you attempt the swap!
