Wet Footwell

I am posting this again as I think I put it in the wrong Forum before. I had one reply there form Bigjeez - thanks- suggesting that I use a wet and dry vacuum cleaner and dehumidifiers but I would prefer to remove the soundproofing.

 

Having cleared my scuttle drains I now have to try and get the water out of the footwell. Can anyone tell me how to get the soundproofing out. Picturtes and step by step instructions woud be great but any help would be welcome.

:16: hi Dr Pete i removed my soundproofing by cutting it out with very sharp stanley knife couldnt remove it all but got wet bits out. :( its all drying at this very moment on my radiator
