I have recently experienced exceptional service from wiltshire and sons when my 130tdi se seat alahmbra

1. had dm flywheel fail.

2. lost all drive because of drive shaft.

 

I am a taxi opperator and the car off the road means no income.

 

Kevin who runs the workshop on both occasions had the car back on the road very quickly, and also put in a claim for the flywheel even though the vehicle has 122k on it.

 

excellent service, probably because it's a family business.

 

It is refreshing to find good service like this when all you hear most of the time are tales of woe and incompetance.

I have no connection with them other than a satisfied customer.

Perhaps we should have a sticky thread in 'Dealer service .....' where we could add good dealers to a list - it might be quite short but we've had good service from 'J R Fords of Shefford' FWIW

I'm still waiting for someone from Wiltshire's to call me to say that they have a 130 Alhambra TDI for a demo drive (one year on....)
