Nope, took them out, hooked them up to the battery to test them, they glowed hot instantly, put them back.

 

Knew about the door opening, key turn BS so looked up the wiring diagram. No connection to the doors or the alarm or locking system.

They seem to use the glow plug light as a problem warning light. Mine has just started to come on and flash if I have my lights on in the rain. :( :( :(

 

The lights work and it stops when it dries up or I put the lights out.

 

Have a look round to see if you can link it to something obvious.

 

The fact that the light comes on does not mean that the glow plugs are powered up.

My glow plug light has also just started flashing about 2 mins after I start the engine.

 

The manual says this indicates a fault and to get it checked out by a dealer so I have booked it in.

 

The vehicle seems to be driving normally so it may be a sensor fault.

Book it out (unless it is a warranty job) as it is most likely the brake light switch that takes 10 mins to change and costs
