Multimedia Not Working

:20: have just bought a second hand 52 plate galaxy ghia with vhs multi media

and its not working nothing,only thing that works is the panel at the back of the console it lights up red and flicks between numbers 1 and 2,

 

i have the radio on so thats powering up ok for the panel to be working.

 

the screens do not power up ,and the vcr does not power up also

 

the remote has new batterys

 

i also have checked for power at the plug ,to the vcr earth is fine

red wire 1.08volts and light pink wire 1.08 volts

 

does anyone have any help ,

would be very greatful

Not sure about the VHS version but with the DVD Multimedia set up you have to point the

remote control at the screen NOT the dvd player to power the unit up. This stumped me

after being stumped by not having the head unit on!!!

have tried that idea with the remote,and the head unit is turned on

 

i have tested the main unit in the centre console and there is power there

 

only 1.08 volts going to the screens and the vcr

 

does it sound like the module is nackard

i have spokern to fords,as 2 a price on the module under the console
