studiodemon Posted May 22, 2006 Report Posted May 22, 2006 Hi,My Cousin got a vagcom system the other day and plugged it into my car.Ran a few tests and got these codes: Address 08: Auto HVAC Part No: 7M0 907 040 AS Component: CLIMATRONIC MPV V110 Coding: 00013 Shop #: WSC 00020 1 Fault Found:65535 - Internal Control Module Memory Error 00-00 - - -------------------------------------------------------------------------------Address 09: Cent. Elect. Part No: 7M0 962 258 F Component: Multifunkt.Einheit 0001 Coding: 04097 Shop #: WSC 00021 2 Faults Found:01135 - Interior Monitoring Sensors 35-10 - - - Intermittent00965 - Fuse for Alarm Horn (S158) 37-00 - Faulty Could someone help me in identifying what they are.I think the first one has something to do with the aircon.Could the second one have something to do with an alarm.I never knew my car had an alarm so if i could get it working that would be great. Any help would be appreciatedRegards Quote

Regards yes forum update has lost the display of the vehicle details - see here ah sorted I see if you look at the top of the pillars between the doors you should see perforated sections, the ultrasonic sensors are in there, don't know offhand whch fuse it would be - if its been removed it should be obvious but if its blown it will be a case of looking at all of them - tedious but cheap :D as to the first error - does your aircon work - does the display flash on start up ? studiodemon Posted May 23, 2006 Author Report Posted May 23, 2006 Ok,Will have a look for the sensors and fuses tomorrow.I had my aircon filled last year and the console stopped flashing. But after about 3 days it started flashing again and the aircon wasn`t cold anymore.first thought is maybe there is a leak. NikpV Posted May 23, 2006 Report Posted May 23, 2006 did you try opening the door though the open window ? Sorry just occured to me Quote
studiodemon Posted May 23, 2006 Author Report Posted May 23, 2006 did you try opening the door though the open window ? Sorry just occured to me Tried that, made no difference. The door would not open when i lent in and tried to open from outside. I noticed when i hold the lock button on the key that it locks the car and the led on the door panel flashes. When i press it quickly twice the light goes out but the doors are still locked.I assume this is disabling the immobiliser. Where they fitted at all on this model? Quote

NikpV Posted May 23, 2006 Report Posted May 23, 2006 ok so you may not have that type of alarm, vag com came up with the error in the alarm system so I would assume that it must have one but I'm not sure what the options are on a Mk1 - possibly someone whos had a Mk1 can help you, Quote
