1.9tdi ,induction? Roar

Just wondering if this is normal on the 90hp tdi,

As the engine revs while accelerating it is fairly quietish till around 2600-2750 rpm them all manner of engine roar happens ,along with an increase in vibration ,but as soon as it hits around 3250 rpm everything smooths over and quietens right down ,

Is this normal ,if not, any idea on wots wrong??

Often wondered the same thing myself as i have a 90bhp 1.9 Tdi that does exactly the same thing.
