handy andy Posted September 19, 2003 Report Posted September 19, 2003 Just had my 10000 service and now when I measure my oil if the car has been stood overnight the level is approx. 10mm above the MAX. If check a few minutes turning the engine off it is more or less on the max.The dealer is insisting that the second moethod should be used and will not accept that they have overfilled it. Anybody had or got a similar problem? Where is your oil level? Quote

Guest ANDY FITZGERALD Posted September 20, 2003 Report Posted September 20, 2003 :P I think that the garage should add the correct quantity of oil at refill stage, the fact that they have not, underlines one of the problems with mechanics, they take the view ..Oh Well, its not my car ...and of course to many low paid juniors doing stuff without supervision.;) Its a poor show really.
