sanjsanj Posted May 22, 2006 Report Posted May 22, 2006 As i've just bought a galaxy and am now selling my sharan, i was thinking of swaping the tyres around as the sharan ones are almost new....heres the prob: Sharan is fitted with 215/60/R15 Extra LoadGal is fitted with 205/60/R15 Two are extra load and two aren't. Will I be able to swap the tyres around? (keep the rim the same) Quote
mumof4 Posted May 22, 2006 Report Posted May 22, 2006 you say two arent extra load???i hope that you mean that they are reinforced???If not then you are invalidating your insurance by using normal tyres that can be dangerous on the gal.!!!! :47: Quote
sanjsanj Posted May 22, 2006 Author Report Posted May 22, 2006 I've heard that it is invalidating my insurance (which is why im swaping the tyres) but also, the ford handbook doesn't say anything about reinforced tyres....thw VW book says reinforced tyres for 195, 205 but not for 215??"! Quote
