Just seen this on ebay and wondered if anyone has any pictures of what they look like fittted?

 

The reason as he says "This item is as big as the roof area of a Galaxy" and I have a sunroof, so it sit on your roof or still on the roof rails?

Sounds like a bag of shiiite :rolleyes: to me and if you have to re-rivet the struts to the box then i reckon they will not be as strong as they should be as you will neeed to re-rivet somewhere pretty close to where they were orignally fixed and that would probally make that area of the roofbox weak, also it has been at the bottom of the garden so it has been exposed to all sorts of weather for prolonged periods of time and there are no keys for the locks :unsure: doesn't have a lot going for it does it, i think you will find something a lot better out there ;)

true, but if it was going cheap, i could restore it and get it resprayed.

Locks are easy enough to replace.

 

As for weak areas, re-fibreglass and then put in an alloy support plate.

 

Shouldn't be too bad.
