Ivor_E_Tower Posted September 20, 2003 Report Posted September 20, 2003 Get a custom-made middle seat,or a roof-box with custom-made fitting to a custom-made hole in the roof so you can reach into the box from inside the car? Quote
Guest Pete C Posted October 7, 2003 Report Posted October 7, 2003 We've got a dvd player in the rear pocket(where the cd changer normally goes) and a 10 cd changer in the space where the jack used to go .The jack now lives in the space under the drivers seat Quote
Guest Andyjflet Posted November 11, 2003 Report Posted November 11, 2003 HiI am having a digital DVD system and screen fitted professionally and the recommendation is this. The DVD player is going in the boot where the jack goes, this can be mounted upwards with only the tray and button on view for added security. Also the screen is a motorised system that drops down from the ceiling and is then watchable by all the rear passengers not just the 2 with headrests. With my CD changer standard fitted in the rear compartment then there is room for the PS2 under the front seats. NB I have been told even the latest ford DVd player works on a very antiquated VHS system and that it is due for replacement in the next two years. Quote
Guest Andyjflet Posted November 11, 2003 Report Posted November 11, 2003 Thanks for the tip, it is going to be installed this week or so. What are your thoughts on the screen, does it restrict the vision thu the rear view mirror, if u have a picture even better. Although everyone has said it is vastly superior I am still a bit apprehensive. Happier with the security aspect as it folds up out of the way Quote
Guest Andyjflet Posted November 12, 2003 Report Posted November 12, 2003 LOLOr that phrase...now available on disney DVD. I have ordered Infra Red Headphones but also having th option of through the speakers as well. Given them the go ahead today, the 10" screen was too big, Quote
