Ogben Schmutzel Posted May 17, 2006 Report Posted May 17, 2006 Hi All, One of the window switches is sticking in the up position. I had something similar on another motor once and made it worse by spaying with the ole faithful. Any pointers? ED40, silicone lubricant?? Cheers.Oggy. Quote

seatkid Posted May 18, 2006 Report Posted May 18, 2006 Make sure the switch hasnt moved in the housing frame. Mine has (due to door repair - incorrect assembly I think). The edge of the rocker then catches the trim and sticks. Solution would be to strip and reassemble properly. Quote
Ogben Schmutzel Posted May 18, 2006 Author Report Posted May 18, 2006 Sorry Ogben - Still at least we know now it wasn't a typo S'ok, it was typo really. You can find anthing with Google these days :D Oggy. Quote
west Posted May 19, 2006 Report Posted May 19, 2006 Silicone. erm no. Its crap, and is likely to sieze up whatever you spray it on.Which is why WD40 has on the can in big red letters'A sillicone free product' :D Quote
