Hi All,

One of the window switches is sticking in the up position. I had something similar on another motor once and made it worse by spaying with the ole faithful.

Any pointers? ED40, silicone lubricant??

Cheers.

Oggy.

Make sure the switch hasnt moved in the housing frame. Mine has (due to door repair - incorrect assembly I think). The edge of the rocker then catches the trim and sticks. Solution would be to strip and reassemble properly.

Silicone.

erm no.

Its crap, and is likely to sieze up whatever you spray it on.

Which is why WD40 has on the can in big red letters

'A sillicone free product' :D

Its got it in BIG red letters because in some situations it causes extreme problems - e.g. in at least some plastic moulding tooling it ruins the tools - in a past life I've seen them throw out
