my mk1 manual 2.8 v6 gal got high 20's on a long motorway journey. average speed of 65-70mph using cruise control

Hi, if it makes you feel any better, i also have a 2.8 V6 , auto.

I'm taking mine to the Loire Valley in August, 7 People and my 21" Caravan,

600 miles there, 600 mileds back, plus, 2weeks sight seeing.

 

15mpg with caravan = 40 odd gallons @ 4.50 =
