Is It Tee'd?

ok. most of us know about the perils of the rear washer!

 

before it causes me any problems i am going to remove the piping and rear jet as they don't get used anyway!

 

does anyone know where the pipe is tee'd? i assume its in the engine bay somewhere but before i go exploring, i thought i would ask the question.

I thought the front and rear washers were separate pumps so it may not have a tee since its only one pipe. (even with headlight washers - again separate pump

Some cars only use one pump, reversing the direction of the pump motor to work the rear washer.

there appears to be at least 2 sets of electrical connections (3 with headlight washers) to the resevoir

If it helps,my Gal 99 Tdi,had rear wash problems and the hose goes from the engine bay under the front passenger carpet along the running board thru to the back.There is a connection in the front passenger area under the carpet that came adrift on mine,which caused the floorpan to be soaked but not noticeable until i lifted the carpet.Best of luck
