Parking Sensors

the parking distance sensor in front is activated as soon as the ignition is turned on,

the system can be turned on or off manually by pressing the swicth

the rear sensor activates when you selected reverse gear

the systems turns off if speed is greater than 16mph/25km/h

after the system has been switched off you have to activate it by pressing the swicth

 

the tone starts at a distance of 120cm front 160cm rear

the sensors front and back will detect obstacles at a distance of 80cm

 

so it would seem from this that the front sensors do work on there own without having to press a switch

 

only if u turn them off do u have to press the switched again to get them working
