tried a/c today and got only warm air.i looked under bonnet and found a snapped metal fitting that goes into a rubber hose.this hose is at the front near the battery and seems to go down to a pump or compressor.anyone know how much this hose costs?i have not noticed any shaking from the engine in my 2001 tdi so not sure if a broken bolt is the cause of the pipe break.
