NikpV Posted May 11, 2006 Report Posted May 11, 2006 you can get the lock separately :D :D See post here Quote
Andrew T Posted May 11, 2006 Report Posted May 11, 2006 so tryed again and this time both front electric windows went down You may not have known, but it's what they're supposed to do. Turn the Key in either front door lock towards the front of the car and all (powered) door windows go down - useful for venting the car when you return to it on a hot day. Turn the key towards the back and all open windows close - including the rear quarter lights. Quote

NikpV Posted May 11, 2006 Report Posted May 11, 2006 have a look here This guy is having the lock re-pinned - would save on a new key, it also appears that some parts of the lock are available separately may be you can repair you lock.. Quote

Masked Marauder Posted May 12, 2006 Report Posted May 12, 2006 Hi, when I had this happen I swapped the front door handles over as I never use the passenger lock anyway ....oh and I am tight. Yep, seems a plan to me. And one less lock for potential theives to attack.... Why not get a spare rear passenger side handle from a brakers and fit that too? Quote
