Mondeo 2.5 V6 Ghia

Hi all

 

I am thinking of buying a late 96 2.5 V6 Ghia estate Auto it has 170BHP . it only has 83,000 km on it (aprox 50,000 miles)

 

So i just need to know if there are any likely issues i might have.

 

Is it a good car? it certainatly looks good. i will be test driving it on Tuesday, and just want to know if there is any thing i should be looking out for.

 

Should the gearbox still have a lot of life left in it?

 

Roughly how many miles to the gallon should it do?

Hi Excelent car I have just sold my Ghia x 2.5 it had done 89000 miles and was still going strong the reason I sold it was because of the M.P.G. on a long run it used to do about 31 to the gallon and on short runs about 22 apart from that it was a fantastic car and if you do get it you will have loads of fun with it as the power is fantastic especially when the boy racers get along side and think its just a normal car !!
