White Smoke And Loss Of Power?

I have a 'S' plate galaxy 1.9 tdi ghia. Bought the car from a dealer just over 12 months ago, lovely car and really happy with it, however......

 

3 weeks ago I started to get lots of white smoke on start up, this eventually became more obvious and lasted longer while driving, to the point 3 weeks ago when I noticed a loss in power and higher revs and so much white smoke that I had to pull over and the car hasnt been used yet.

 

Im trying to get an idea of what might be wrong: suggestions Ive been given so far are; head gasket, oil pump, turbo unit, injector unit (the car went back to the garage 2 months after purchase for a new turbo unit to fitted)

 

Does anyone have any idea or previous experience like this, as a liitle knowledge may be useful when I get it to a garage.

 

Any help would be greatly apprecaited

I should have made it clear that I dont really know much about cars at all, I'm sort of assuming (dangerous) because the symptons are very similar to when my turbo unit was replaced and they told me then that it was something to do with the timing!
