Guest seashells Posted April 26, 2006 Report Posted April 26, 2006 hi i have a s reg 2.0 galaxy.the car will not start. when turning key all lights are normal and everything seems ok .car turns over but will not start..the led on door flashes quickly .i have 2 keys and tried both but nothing also i have changed reciever on ignition barrel but nothing.put car into garage today for diagnostic test but they could not get it to work said it would not read .i am now pulling my hair out.any help or ideas would be great Quote
NikpV Posted April 27, 2006 Report Posted April 27, 2006 Having thought about this GEM is involved in remote key operation MK11, for a mk1 the electronic system for a remote key system is the RKE (remote key entry) , not sure if its involved in PATS/immobilizer operation, the fact that they were unable to READ the cars electronics implies a problem in the car rather than both keys ;) Quote
