wjfe Posted April 26, 2006 Report Posted April 26, 2006 Has anyone noticed that the drivers seat of thier Galaxy is wearing. The lower right bottom portion of the back of the seat appears to be wearing disporportionatly, and my car is less than two years old. Has anyone raised this with Ford.... I've been told its not a warranty item. Thanks Bill Quote
MrT Posted April 26, 2006 Report Posted April 26, 2006 The drivers seat always wear first on a car as it is the most used. Have you checked the clothing that you usually wear for hard items, such as rivets in jeans or leather belts, these can all cause the rubbing away of fabric? Quote
davewill Posted August 11, 2006 Report Posted August 11, 2006 My drivers seat has worn to a hole in exactly the same position. The reason for this is that i always keep loose change (i.e money coins) in the back pocket of my work trousers. Therefore when i get in or out of the car, the coins rub against the padded part of the seat, and thus it wears out! I've been trying to locate a drivers seat for months to buy, (its that diamond pattern cloth in grey, and the car is silver) but can't find one anywhere Quote
