I changed the coolant recently on my 2000 1.9TDi, I couldn't fill with the correct amount of coolant and assumed that there must have been some water from the flush left in there.

Anyway, I've noticed that since the change my Auxilliary heater has stopped working.

Does anyone know if there is any reason for a coolant change to affect aux heater. eg, is there a flow sensor or similar?

Or is it just a co-incidence, and maybe I should look at glowplug?

Thanks

Could just be it is too warm for it to come on. Have you tried bridging the external temperature sensor pins (It is clipped to the wiper linkage) and see if it fires up?
