Where Is Relay 30

hi i have a 2.0 galaxy s reg which refuses to start.have changed the receiver on the ignition barrel no joy.

when i turn the key in ignition barrel all the lights come on as normal and the car seems to turn over,the led on the door panel flashes quite fast.

i have been through most topics on this site and relay 30 seems to be a problem can anyone please tell me where this relay is located.

any help or ideas would be gratefully received

I think the problem relates to the imobiliser rather than the relay and maybe a disconnection of the battery for about 30 mins may help.

 

It sounds like the immobiliser has not recognised the key.

 

Maybe reprogramming will help but try the battery first

hi i have tried dis battery and this makes no difference.

i have tried the 2 keys and still it will not start.

If your door LED is flashing very fast,,,,,then this points to a immobiliser problem as neil said

it was the relay 30
