NikpV Posted April 23, 2006 Report Posted April 23, 2006 advertised as the same as the s-max ... anybody got any info/opinions on this. I like the current seats, they are substantial but difficult to shift, we looked at the zafira before buying (3 years ago) and did not like their fold flat system. What do folks think? Ps this is probably academic as far as a possible sale is concerned   Quote
Goofygolfer Posted April 24, 2006 Report Posted April 24, 2006 ditto, we also looked at the poxhall zafira before we got the galaxy the folding seats are great in principal, but seemed so flimsy. I know the galaxy ones are a pain to keep removing but they are more secure, would hate to be rear ended sitting in the back of a zafira. Quote
Guest heartburn Posted April 24, 2006 Report Posted April 24, 2006 im not to keen on the extra bit behind the seat that makes the flat floor, looks like its been glued on.would of been better if ford could of designed the seats a bit better, but i may be looking at a mark 3 in a few months. Quote
Ivor_E_Tower Posted April 24, 2006 Report Posted April 24, 2006 Not sure from the photos I have seen that the fold-flat seat backs will take kindly to having 200 bricks stacked on them. The existing Gal excels in this area! So you have to take the seats out, but at least you have a proper load-bearing floor. Depends on what kind of use you intend to put the car to, I suppose. Quote

Also they have to go somewhere. They may be folded flat, but they are still taking up potential load space. Quote
