Rear Door Electrics

Hi All,

Have usualk problem of snapped wires in the loom between the b-pillar and the rear door. Have fixed in the past with connector blocks, but now the wires are corroded and snapped out of the circular connector coming out of the pillar. Now I need a new loom. No luck from local scrappies, can anyone recommend a source of the wiring that is cheaper than Ford/Seat/VW dealer?

How about removing that bit of the loom from the pillar and tailgate, then doing a proper repair before putting it back in?

 

Mind you, still haven't got round to it after 2 years :(

 

but I will do it sometime, promise
