Ok peeps..im getting concerned here....you all wanted this....you voted for it...you voted where and when....been left to me to try and organise it..but so far not getting anywhere!!!!!!

do you all still want to go to Alton or somewhere where we can have a barby scrutinise each others cars and be thankful we dont have their problems???

Here we go maybe thisis gonna be a marathon but hey ho...

 

If the Major meet at Alton Towers is not gonna grow then how about regional meets ?

 

If we can get voluteers to organise regional BBQs or campovers so we can start the social side of this forum would you all like to take part ?

 

Maybe not for a whole weekend or even a night but maybe a BBQ or some evening beers ?

 

Any voluteers ?

 

I know Mumof4 will be forced to be a volunteer for us southerners and maybe a location like Severnake Forest would be ideal.

 

Any ideas suggestions as we need to be quick or we will miss the sunny days ahead.

 

 

If you are interested please PM to mumof4 with where and when and which of you is a volunteer (nicely palmed off onto mumof4 i thought).

Having chatted to swmbo it looks like we would be interested in somewhere like savernake where we could have a walk followed by bbq and chat with other gal owners, for us timing would be crucial - depends when the house move goes ahead, anybody else interested? Come on folks enough expressed an interest when it was theoretical.

Alton, rather than Alton Towers, would suit me. Savernake forest OK so long as willing female will let me share her tent (LOL !) Chippenham, Lyneham, Calne are OK too

To be honest, fuel, a day off work and the ticket price for Alton Towers is just too rich for me! Anywhere where it costs nothing is good right now! Somewhere we can have a picnic/barbie and not worry too much about the kids playing.

One thing..Alton didnt seem to generate much interest even though loads of peeps put their names down.Are looking at savernake forest,but does anyone have any other ideas?????

Hi mo4 and all

i will be on hols on july 29th/30th in somerset at Brean sands but i can go to any meet in that area for picnic and chat etc
