Can someone please give me an idiot guide to ETKA pricing. I have ETKA, but for some reason the prices will not show. I understand it means doing some config settings in the .ini files, but which ones, where does the Price file go etc.

Thanks

If I remember right you have to create a floppy disk with the price data on it, I did it when I first installed EKTA - 3 years ago  but have just never deleted the installation on the hard drive when reinstalling updating the computer and it just runs from the executable and retains the price info, which normally is within the ballpark figure quoted by the dealers. Any reference on the ekta disk relating to making a floppy disk?

Yes, but where do you get the pricing info from?

Found the disk... I've quickly scanned the instructions and it involced copying a directory of the CD called PRICE and then running the program inside the dir called CRPRS.EXE. You point this to the data file, LexPrs.dat (also in the same dir) which will then copy the price list to a floppy.

You then use the Maintenance function within EKTA to update the pricing...

Does that shed any light at all or are your installs completely different???

Its too big to upload, about 3.4Meg in size, but it zips down to 846kb.

If you want it. send me your email address and I'll send it to you.
