Hope everyone is having a good easter break so far.

Thought while the sun was out i'd wash and polish the old Gal.

Looks good, now I'll have to go and do mine ! What did you use on the tyres ? Rain guaranteed the minute I finish. :(

Ok, confession time, lol.

I actually took her to be washed at one of those platinum car wash places you usually find in pub car parks or outside garage forecourts.

Think they use just normal tyre black stuff, but to polish i used autoglym super resin polish, buffed up with a lint free 100% cotton cloth.

Waiting for the black clouds to loom over the horizon anytime now, lol.

Forecast was for a fine day, but it poured with rain here this morning (and the forecast page on BBC still said it would be dry!). Washed the tailgate, rear bumper and sills this afternoon.

 

Called in at the local Ford dealership this morning in the rain and got the "advanced preview" mini-brochures of the new Galaxy and S-Max. There is not much in them, no dimensions or technical details, just photos. Brochures should be available at the beginning of May. Their demo vehicles should be available in early June (S-Max) and early July (Galaxy), with delivery of "non-stock" vehicles taking 6 to 8 weeks depending on optional equipment specified. No details of prices yet, either.
