Gentlemen, Mumof4 has done her best and help wherever she can. She has welcomed new people, tried to lift spirits when things are getting members down and generally been a good sport and a good laugh. Her technical expertise maybe isn't top notch BUT SHE TRIES so we shouldn't have a go. Many people are happy just to get a reply even if it doesn't solve the problem.

 

Why is it such a big deal if she does answer many posts? doesn't exactly slow the process down that much, we're not downloading the content.

 

Give her a break, she's doing ok in my book, I'd rather have mumof4 on here than some of the foul mouthed and arrogant members that thankfully have had their wings clipped.

can I just say as the creator of the site it was not intended to be just about getting help about your cars, it was aimed to be a ford owners community where people can exchange information, resolve problems and have a bit of a laugh. The reason we have a general discussion and nonsense should highlight that.

 

If we all just got our notepads out and came here only to sort out problems with the cars then the site would be a desert.

 

If you look at the citroenpicasso site they have a weightwatchers section, fun and games etc and it seems to be very lively and happy, it has only ever had one mod and he doesn't need to do much.

 

Personally I have no problems wth people posting nonesense as long as it is in the right section.

All the moderators will make joint decisions and have access to moderate the whole site, as a democratic team it is upto them to choose if they all look after the whole site or split into sections.

 

They have all been set guidelines as to what is expected from them, If you have ideas of what you think should be done on the site in conjunction with moderation then put your ideas forward but the mods will decide if your requests are acceptable to the site.

 

The fact that the guys and gal are willing to spend time looking after the sites interests for no reward should in itself be respected, so please make life easier for everyone and the mods by playing nice and having fun.

I noticed a lack of replies to some of my recent threads and figured "somat was up"

 

Fredt, Vr6, and galaxy kid readily gave extremely knowledgeable (sp?) assistance and I feel it's a shame things came to this.

This is pretty much done and dusted guys, the tread was unpinned in the hope it would slip away as some of the contents are not the best advert for the site in general.

 

It has been posted on four times since then pushing it back up.
