my main gripe with the current model is the lack of space available for luggage behind the rear seats. If thats where the extra 6" are then for me it's a welcome feature.

 

The current galaxy is similar in length to a mondeo? I mention this because some feel a longer mpv would be unwieldly - I think there is a place for both a large and smaller mpv, rather than the in between one we have now.

What I fear is that they are trying to take some market share from the Zafira, which is not a MPV IMHO, just a big car. And it would also be IMHO a backward step. The Zafira is very small inside in comparison to a Galaxy.

A "photochop" is an image that has been manipulated using a professional editing package such as Adobe Photoshop. It can be used to stick various parts together and re-colour and shade them convincingly. With a good Adobe Photoshop artist you will find it hard to tell where the joins are!

As regards engines for the next generation Sharalhambra, the 2.0 TDI PD engine is soon to be available with 170 bhp - not far short of the 185 bhp 5 cylinder Volvo unit, and almost certainly a good deal less thirsty.

I saw a S-MAX on the road today, i was n't sure what it was at first until i got a bit closer and then i realised what it was, looked really nice. I would have liked to have got a better look at it but it was at a set of lights. It was heading towards Dagenham motors in Dagenham and my Galaxy is in there having some work done, so when i go in there tomorrow to pick it up i might make a few enquiries.
