Started to get a high pitched beep similar to the reverse parking sensor sound but slightly higher for some reason, any ideas on what it could be anyone ??? B) normally when I reverse but intermittantly in normal driving although the parking sensors are definately not activated

well, there's two beepers in the rear. one is your parking sensor bleeper, and the other is when you have a trailer plugged in, it beeps when you have your indicator on (i am personally ready to rip that one out! )

could be either, you could have a small wiring problem?

Both front and rear parking sensors , its a '52 tdi ghia but has no towbar so shouldnt be that beeper going off, the sensors are working fine and beeps normal but this is a higher pitch sound than that

Yes it comes and goes but is additional to the parking sensor beeps......this has so far been the most unreliable car weve ever had far worse than our old mk1 gal
