pete white Posted April 1, 2006 Report Posted April 1, 2006 hi, decided to get the coolant circulation pump checked as the familiar humming sound after engine shut off disappeared also aux heater had been playing up. anyway took it to a independent garage whose 'bread and butter' comes from servicing vw and audis. they could not find a fault and said they would not charge, i thought great no loss. however when driving home a fuse fell out onto my foot. got home checked what wasnt working turned out to be rear window demister. after putting fuse back in it still does not work just a clicking sound fom fusebox. also found out central locking not working, same clicking sound. also when pulling the fuses out, checking them, i must have pulled a main fuse out because it made a clicking sound when it came out and i had to put radio code back in and the trip computer had reset to zero including the miles left on fuel indicator which oesnt read properly now according to the fuel gauge needle which is working fine. have i bust a relaydo i need to reset something to align the digital reading of miles left with the fuel gauge needle thanks Quote
Goofygolfer Posted April 1, 2006 Report Posted April 1, 2006 reset?? why?? go back to the garage and get them to put right B) Quote
