mumof4 Posted March 30, 2006 Report Posted March 30, 2006 Hmmm...i know this has been covered before but im willing to go over it.I recently used Auto glym, think i must have used too much as i was left with soapy streaks even after rinsing!!(mind you was a step up from morning fresh!!)  I have also used turtle wax stuff before and it gave a lovely shine with a lot of elbow grease!! :D Quote
Guest reefer Posted March 30, 2006 Report Posted March 30, 2006 Hello All,Can any one recommend a good upholstery cleaner for the Gal. seats.Muddy dog has walked on all the seats !.Tried the Halfords stuff and vanish uphostery stain remover but seats still looking grubby.Another thing, has any one replaced the Blue Ford badges, both front and rear . Mine have both faded to Silver. Can any body offer advice on the best method to remove them without damage to the body work.Cheers,Reefer Quote

Guest blatters Posted March 30, 2006 Report Posted March 30, 2006 Hi, AutoExpress magazine do a weekly product test and then carry the results of all the tests on their web site. Here's the link: http://www.autoexpress.co.uk/product_test/ It has leather cleaner & conditioner plus tons of other stuff. Will keep you guys amused for an evening! Mumof4 - no Dettol wipes I'm afraid  Regards Blatters Quote

Guest MATT Posted March 31, 2006 Report Posted March 31, 2006 i have replaced mine. simply heat with hairdryer, then pull off the badge, i used a small screw driver, under the badge, and pull, if you are careful, you wont damage the paint, others have used string, ice scraper, what ever you prefer. two new badges were Quote
justme Posted March 31, 2006 Report Posted March 31, 2006 Tried most products, mer, autoglym, turtle wax etc etc.Maguires is the best product out there in my opinion, little bit more price wise but well worth it. Halfords have started doing the full range. Quote
delboyt Posted March 31, 2006 Report Posted March 31, 2006 once you have washed herrinse with fabric softner in cold waterit leaves the car clear without all the streaks & water mark's i use meguires products for cleaning & polishingas said in previous postit superb & i am a paint sprayer by trade sohave tried most product's on the market.
