This is very popular nowadays.. and incredibly easy to set up.

 

should only cost the price of the BLOOTHOOT GPS unit - ( I knew a guy couldnt say bluetooth )

 

dunno if its been said before , but I set it up on my nokia 9500 - which uses the S80 version of TomTom Mobile 5.2 .. software is available - all over the place <_<

 

I guess its prolly possible on ALOT of phones out there - just have to get the right software.

 

for me I was lucky it all cost nowt, cause I had a dig in the shed - and found -as if by magic- a BLOOTHOOT GPS in the bottom of a forgotten box..

 

Its really good - cause the kids always have a surprise voice for me.. some times its DARTH VADER or YODA.. or even KITT .. my favourite is Dr. EVIL

I've got TomTom v4 on my Tornado SPV-C500 smartphone. Worked well, but I dug it out last week to go somewhere and couldn't get it find the BT GPS unit for some reason.

I downloaded 28 voices for TT5 on my Nokia 9500 from a Bitorrent site.

Bought John Cleese, and a few others from TomTom.

 

Have all european maps & POI's to suit. :)

I bought some voices for my Tom Tom v4 software on my PDA and then found out they only work on version 3. It was the ozzy voice I relly wanted.

So if anyone out there wants to swap a version 3 for a 4 that would be much appreciated.

No, they don't. Only people who contribute certified new sites now. When I sent my sites in it was still a very ad-hoc affair, you got a thank you email and that was it.

Traffic Master unfortuanatly is a stand-alone product, it will work on S60 devices though.
