I have a 115 bhp TDI Galaxy with 30,000 miles on the clock.

Occasional power loss is suffered from when it first starts up.
This does not go away after a few minutes or by stopping the engine and starting again but the following day or after a few hours sitting idle the next time you start it up it is fine.

I have taken the car to a Ford garage and explained this to them but they say they cannot find a problem.

The Galaxy has been serviced from new and apart from this issue we have not had any other problems with the engine.

Any ideas ?

Sounds like the MAF or connections to it or turbo problems.
