Hi, just joined.

I bought a 52 plate Galaxy TDI Ghia a couple of days ago which I'm happy with apart from the audio system. I'm used to having an MP3 CD/stereo in the car and wondering what would be the best way to go about this in the Galaxy?

It currently has a 6 CD autochanger, would this autochanger become redundant if replaced with a "regular" MP3/CD/stereo?

will a "regular" MP3/CD/stereo fit in the space occupied by the factory fitted unit?

I guess my options are:

1. Buy an MP3/Cd/Car stereo plus a Ford non ISO facia adaptor?

2. Buy a system that has a USB port and can play mp3's from a USB stick, but again would probably need the Ford fascia adaptor?

Would appreciate any advice anyone can offer, thanks :D

You could upgrade to the 6000MP3 which loads a single MP3 disc in the head unit and can control a multi changer, which would mean you would keep your OE multi changer and keep the OE look of the dash in the process :D
