Will This Be Easy To Fit

i want to fit a ford 6000cd stereo (the large sized stereo) into my 97 galaxy.

 

will it fit no problems or will i need something to fill any spaces.

 

will the plugs on the back be the same.

 

at the moment theres a ford 2006 cassete player in there.

IIRC the 6000 is a 1.5 din and the 2006 is a 1 din so you will need a 0.5 din spacer. The connections should be standard ISO fit, but if not conversion cables are available. Both items (cables and spacer) can be obtained by Fraud Stealers or Halfrauds.

 

I'm sure people on here have swapped the same head units though and can confirm or correct this. HTH :D
